Protection System Architecture for All-Electric Aircraft

To reduce emissions from the aviation industry and meet targets set by different countries, research has been focused on investigating all-electric aircraft. make this vision practical, superconducting machines are expected to power propellers, as they half size a third weight of conventional machines. The main purpose paper is do higher-level study reliable holistic protection system for aircraft; that can heat leakage be able detect faults reliably. Thus, three systems were investigated; 1) cryogenic voltage source converter magnetic energy storage (VSC-SMES), 2) dc breaker integrated with fault current limiter (SFCL), 3) machine learning algorithm detection. By immersing at temperature, shown passive eliminated, thus more saved fuel cell. also demonstrated using SFCL-dc-breaker consistently eliminate protect system.
